RISE crash course Network analysis in the Humanities. Gephi

Two-hour crash course for introduction to network analysis and visualisation

Networks are computational structures, but they are also maps and representation tools that allow exploratory data analysis. Gephi is a free and open source software for network analysis and visualization.
During the course we will showcase some examples in the humanities and explore some of the main features and requirements for Gephi: data and file formats, data import and export, network visualization, spatialization, metrics and web publishing.
No previous knowledge is required. The courses are offered in English, but questions and contributions in German are also welcome.
