Sorin Marti has been a member of the RISE team since September 2022. He has extensive experience in software development and works as a full-stack developer on the design and implementation of digital research infrastructures. After his apprenticeship as a software developer, he studied German and History, and is close to completing his Master's in Digital Humanities and History.

His work focuses in particular on data preparation, long-term archiving, and digital methods for data extraction, with a special emphasis on the use of AI techniques for the structured analysis of research data. He develops and maintains tools for the enrichment, analysis, and presentation of research data, including NDR Core (data presentation) and MOSAIC (data enrichment). In addition, he has created various web applications and presentation systems for research projects, among them platforms for SNF-funded projects as well as custom digital applications.
