RISE Crash Course: "Practical Basics of AI via API"

Two-Hour Introduction to Using Large Language Models via an API.

In this two-hour, hybrid event, we will demonstrate how to query LLMs through APIs and how to automate the serial querying of a large number of requests.

Using simple Python scripts, such queries will be demonstrated, and we will reflect on further processing and storage.

The course is aimed at researchers and students in the social sciences and humanities. The number of participants is limited to 15 people (on-site) per session. Ideally, participants should have basic knowledge of Python, but this is not mandatory. If needed, the course can be offered in English. Questions and contributions in English are, of course, always welcome regardless of the course language. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Register now.
