New publication on spoken learner corpora
The Zeitschrift für Germanistische Linguistik has recently published a special issue on spoken learner corpora. The issue looks at current developments and best practices for spoken learner corpora of German, ranging from questions of corpus design over topics in transcription and annotation to considerations concerning methodology of analysis and application. A contribution by Hagen Hirschmann and Thomas Schmidt focuses on technological and methodological aspects of creating, processing and anlysing spoken learner corpora. The special issue can be accessed free of charge by members of the University of Basel.
