Sorin Marti has been a member of the RISE team since September 2022. In addition, he is employed at the Europainstitut of the University of Basel as a research assistant. Before his studies in German and History, he completed an apprenticeship as a software developer and is currently doing his Master in Digital Humanities and History. He is increasingly involved in data preparation, long-term repositories, and digital methods for data extraction. He develops tools for presenting research data or parsing OCR. With the virtual walk-through of the Asia Room at the Europa Institute, the Transcriptiones platform or the presentation websites of various SNF projects, he has created web presences with an underlying presentation system.
